Lorita D. Loupe, 87, a lifelong resident of Raceland passed away Monday, 
October 3, 2016.

Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Friday, 
October 7, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 
a.m. at the church.

Lorita is survived by her husband, Albert Loupe, Jr.; daughter, Judy Bauer 
(Keith); grandchildren, Crystal Bonura (Timothy) and Jarret Bauer (Alyson); 
great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Catherine Bonura; sisters, Juanita Detillier 
and Geraldine Rodrigue.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovelace and Beulah Detillier; her 
son, Randy Loupe and her siblings, Lois D. Rodrigue and Gerald Detillier.

Lorita was a parishioner at St. Hillary's where she was a member of the Ladies 
Auxiliary and the Council of Catholic Women. She was also a member of the 
American Legion #349, the Freddie John Falgout VFW 3665 and AARP Chapter 4585. 
Lorita was the past president of the Pink Ladies at St. Anne's and was named 
the Volunteer of the Year in 1994.

The family would like to thank Hospice of South Louisiana and The Broadway 
Nursing Home for their loving care.

Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
