Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., from 9:00AM until funeral time. Religious services will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his Son, Spencer and wife Jeanette Foret Painter of Houma; Daughter, Charlene and husband Charles Cooper of Houma; Half-Brother, Russell Painter, Jr; Sister, Marylene Bourgeois and Half-Sister, Carol Ann Guedry; 7 grandchildren, Casey Cooper, Claire Fabre, Corinn Ferris, and Brent, Kyle, Scott and Erin Painter; 11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Audrey Landry Painter; parents, Ray Russell and Jeanne Moinot Painter; half-brother, Ronald Painter and sister, Louise Tullier . Whtiney loved carpentry. He loved to repair all sorts of things. The family would like to thank the staff at Chateau Terrebonne and Journey Hospice.
