Aarence “Bazoot” Anthony Price, Sr. 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish, 
Louisiana and a resident of Chauvin, Louisiana died Thursday, October 27, 2016 
at 3:13 p.m.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 
service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, La. Funeral Mass will be 
held at 11:30 a.m. at the church 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery, Chauvin.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Merle Stoufflet Price; sons, Aarence, 
Jr., Thomas and Michael and wife Tammy Price; daughter, June Price Pellegrin 
and husband, Howie; sisters, Velma Verret, and Alberta Domangue and husband, 
Eural; 9 grandchildren, Lance and wife Haley Pellegrin, Scott Pellegrin, 
Aarence Price, III and wife Brittany, James, Michael, II, Justin and Baylee 
Price, Tony Ledet and wife Lauren and Erica Roddy and husband Matt;11 great-
grandchildren, Emmalynn Pellegrin, Kate Pellegrin, Aarence, IV, Silas, and 
Rhemidy Price, Elijah and Isaac Roddy, Ephraim, Abram, Adelaide and Chaim 
Ledet.

He is preceded death his parents, Whitney and Mary Trahan Price; four brothers, 
Ivy, Sr., Delvin, Sr., Terry and Ray Price; sister, Irene Dupre.

He was a Barge Foreman for 50 years in the oil industry. He was a member of the 
Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, his family and grandchildren. He was a 
parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Price family.
