Theresa Alleman Scioneaux, 85, a native of Donaldsonville, LA and resident of 
Thibodaux, LA passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Christ the Redeemer 
Catholic Church from 9:00 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
take place at 12:00 noon at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine “Gerry” Himel and husband, Randy; 
Phyllis Fontenot and companion Leander Pitre; sister, Inez Daigle; brother, Eno 
“EJ” Alleman; grandchildren, Cassie H. Bonvillain (Dean), Jamey Fontenot 
(Lisa); Leslie Talbot (Brandon); Bryan Fontenot (Avie), Randy Himel Jr. 
(Mallory), and Eric Fontenot (Maggie); great-grandchildren, Peyton, Abbie, 
Madison Bonvillain, Hannah and Hunter Talbot, Hayes and Harris Himel, Gavin, 
Haley, Kayleigh, Gage, and Aubrey Fontenot; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Scioneaux; infant son; parents, 
Eno and Louise Richard Alleman; sister, Florence Alleman Scorsone.

She volunteered her time at Thibodaux Regional, and was an active member at 
Christ the Redeemer Church. She enjoyed activities at the Lafourche Parish 
Senior Citizens Center. The family would like thank the doctors and staff at 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Audubon Nursing Home and St. Catherine’s 
Hospice. A special thanks to two special nurses, Amber and Tasha for their care 
and support.
