Louis "L.J." Scott Sr., 79, a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of 
Chauvin, born on October 27, 1936 and passed away on October 18, 2016.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9am to 11am at Samart 
Funeral Home. The Memorial Talk will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 
11am at Samart Funeral Home, 

followed by the burial in Garden of Memories.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Scott; children, Louis Scott Jr. and wife 
Carol, Morris J. Scott and wife Shirline, David Scott and wife Deirdra, Laura 
Ann Lefort and husband Howard, Debra Marie Scott Howard and husband David, 
Timmy Scott and wife Sissy, JoAnn Scott Businelle; 14 Grandchildren; and many 
Great Grandchildren; Brother, Sidney Scott Sr. and wife Doris; sister, Eunice 
Pitre and husband Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Oris and Evelyn Liner Scott; grandson- 
Shannon Scott; Great Grandson- Jayden Businelle; brothers-,C.J., Oris, and 
George; sisters, Irene, Dorothy, and Margaret.

He was a devote Jehovah's Witness for 55 years.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
