Patricia "Susie" Babin Truxillo, 58, was born on August 31, 1958 and passed 
away peacefully in the presence of family and friends on October 2, 2016.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Thibodaux Funeral 
Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A visitation will resume on Thursday, October 
6, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux from 9:00 AM 
until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery in 
Thibodaux.

She is survived by her loving husband Paul Truxillo; son Tyler Babin and wife 
Cara; brothers Jerry Durocher and Billy Durocher; and grandchildren Avery Babin 
and Tucker Babin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge "Blackie" Durocher and 
Barbara Bergeron Durocher.

Her greatest joy was raising her son Tyler, whom she loved with her whole 
being. Her love of children lead her to opening and operating Mrs. Susie's 
Angels Day Care, a job she cherished for 21 years as she savored the precious 
moments nurturing and watching her children grow.

She loved life, had a passion for fundraising for Relay for Life a cause she 
held dear to her heart, she always held out on a Saints winning season, enjoyed 
Mardi Gras, loved her family deeply and cherished her friends immensely.

Her beautiful spirit will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
