Lawrence served in the United States Navy from 1951 - 1973 and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer W3 in the Navy Seabees. He received numerous Navy Commendation Medals and three Bronze Star during his service. He was very passionate about his country and his family. Visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2016, at Holy Savior Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Holy Savior Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the Holy Savior Cemetery. He is survived by his two daughters, Marlene Allemand, Shirlene Fielder; two sons, Marlon Allemand, Norris Allemand and wife, Suzie Falgout; two granddaughters, Kendra Brown and husband, Jess, Hailey Allemand and companion, Bryan Rodrigue; three great-grandchildren, Lylah Rodrigue, Ashby Stevens, Jack Brown; three sisters, Mae Rose Chiasson, Geraldine Pierce, Joyce Clark; and two brothers, Nathan Allemand, Darryl Allemand; . He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mae Allemand; father, Alvin Allemand; mother, Annie Allemand; brother, Norris Allemand; and sister, Doris Hebert.
