Virginia "Jenny" Marie Allen, 54, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident 
of Raceland, passed away peacefully at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 
2016.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 
December 16 at Community Fellowship Church, 901 Barataria St. in Lockport, LA. 

Burial will follow in New Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery.

She is survived by her four sons, Leroy, Pierre, Ronnie and Jarry Allen; 
daughters, Jane Poindexter (Floyd), Mary and Cherish Allen; eighteen 
grandchildren; brothers, Harvey, Jr., Darren, Larry and Joseph Allen; sisters, 
JoAnn Thomas, Shelia Mccskill and Lorraine Davis.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nariah Allen; parents, Harvey, 
Sr. and Irene Nelson-Allen; brother, Ronald Allen; and sister, Cynthia Caine.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
