Mr. Raymond Alvin Becnel, 84. A native of Lutcher, LA  resident of 
Houma, LA died on Saturday, November 19, 2016.


Visitation and funeral services will be held at New Zion Baptist Church 401 
Grand Caillou Rd., Houma, LA 70363 on Saturday, November 26, 2016.  Visitation 
from 8:00a.m. until funeral time at 10:00a.m.
 
He is survived by his wife, Eva Matthews Becnel. Two sons, Darryl (Iris) Becnel 
and Harlan Becnel and one grandchild.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Levene Armont and Norris Becnel. One 
daughter, Dishelle Becnel. Brother, Horace Becnel.
 
He was a Baptist and a U. S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed reading and teaching the 
bible.
