Rachel Grace Blanchard, 15, a native of Thibodaux, LA, passed away Thursday, 
November 3, 2016.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral Catholic Church in Thibodaux from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass 
of Christian Burial will take place 12:00 PM 

with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Kelly Hymel Blanchard; brother, Jake Blanchard; 
nephew, Andrew Michael; grandparents, Chuck and Debbie Hymel, Larry and Linda 
Blanchard; aunt, Joanie Hymel Babin; uncles, Brett Hymel (Melissa), Larry 
Blanchard, Jr. (Tesa) and Terry Blanchard (Kristy); cousins, Brittany and 
Bailey Babin, Bryce and Caleb Hymel, Destiny and Larry Blanchard, III, and 
Dustin Blanchard.

She is preceded in death by her father, Michael P. Blanchard and grandmother, 
Grace Blanchard.

Rachel loved spending time with her family, drawing, listening to music, 
shopping, and being silly.
