Visitation will be held Wednesday, November, 9, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at Pointe- Aux-Chenes Fire Station and Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 9am to 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. Burial will take place in Bisland Cemetery. She is survived by her Children- Carl Couvillier and wife Linda, Charles Couvillier and wife Laurell, Rosalee Chaisson and husband Wilfred Jr., Malcolm Brunet, Melvin Brunet, and Ernie Brunet Jr. and wife Kristie Step Son- James Brunet and wife Tracy Grandchildren- 22 Great Grandchildren- 34 Great Great Grandchildren- 1 She was preceded in death by her 1st Husband- Clifton Couvillier 2nd Husband- Ernest Brunet Sr. Parents- Louis and Sedonia Naquin Son- Harlan Brunet Brothers- Francois Naquin and Wayne Naquin Sisters- Francoise Hotard and Olivia Dardar Granchildren- Casey Chaisson, Jarred Chaisson, Justin Chaisson, Christian Sternberger, and Tristan Sternberger Great Grandson- Kaynen Chaisson Ophelia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a strong, faithful woman who taught her family to pray. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a member of the Cursillo Movement.
