Stephen “Steve” Caillouet, 70, was born on May 31, 1946 and passed away on 
November 11, 2016. 
He was a native of Chackbay, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

Services are pending.

He is survived by his family, Sandra Hotard and companion Ronnie Chamberlain, 
Rusty Chiasson and companion Diane, Glenda Miller and husband Carl, and Debra 
Stevens and husband Alex “Buddy”; godchild, Melina Landry; numerous nieces, 
nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his biological mother, Quida Caillouet; his 
godparents who raised him, Rita Garnet and Joseph “Yank” Chiasson; his brother, 
Jimmie Chiasson; brother-in-law, Charles “Charlie” Hotard, and sister-in-law, 
Connie Chiasson, and his beloved dog, Pooch,

He was known in the Chackbay area for his work in the fields with numerous 
local farmers, he then continued to work for McDermott and Soloco. As he grew 
older he attended Grenier Industries where he met many friends and co-workers. 
Above all, his animals were dear to him. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation to his personal care 
attendants past and present. He will be greatly missed by his family and 
friends.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
