Laura passed away peacefully November 21, 2016 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center after suffering a stroke. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in White Castle, LA from 8:30AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00AM at the church. Interment will be in Ascension of the Lord Catholic Cemetery in Donaldsonville, LA. God looked around his garden and found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered, ‘Peace be Thine’. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Clause Bouquet and husband Tommy Bouquet of White Castle, Caroline Clause Landry and husband Gary Landry Sr. of Lower Texas, and Mary Hidalgo of Thibodaux; son- in- law, Gary Jarman and wife Dana of Patterson; grand-children, Kevin Robinette and wife Diana Robinette, Michelle Bouquet, Lisa Bouquet Kendricks and husband Wilfred Kendricks Jr., Gary Landry Jr, Victoria Landry, Chett Landry and fiancée Amberly Anslum. Elizabeth Hidalgo and Amy Hidalgo; great-grandchildren, Michael Robinson Jr., Ty Robinson, Destiny Kendricks, Wilfred Kendricks III and Cambre Landry; former Husband, Joseph Hidalgo, of Thibodaux; sisters, Dora Landry, Dorothy “Mary” Morgan, Maudrey Cavalier, brothers, Edward Cavalier and Ervin Cavalier. Preceded in death by her parents, Felicien Cavalier and Golda Marie Cavalier; her first husband, Haley Clause Sr.; daughter, Dolores Clause Jarman; son, Haley Clause Jr.; sister, Theresa Cavalier; brothers, Charles Cavalier, Guilday Cavalier, JB Pierre Cavalier and Edmond Cavalier. The family would like to thank the Staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, especially the CCU department for the love and tender devotion in the care of our mother and ourselves during this emotional part of life.
