She was born March 31, 1933 and was a native of Fort Lauderdale, FL and a longtime resident of Thibodaux, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Donald T. Crochet; her parents, Blanche Farris Ginder Clarke and Roy M. Ginder; her step-parents, Billie Palmer Ginder and Bill Clarke; a sister, Elizabeth Clarke Powell, and a brother, William C. Palmer. She is survived by her five children, Renee (Louis Wineski), Chris (Celie), Lisa (Kenny Hamilton), Keith (Fran), and Corey (Shelia); thirteen grandchildren and four great- grandchildren; also survived by her sisters, Gail Clarke and June Parney; a brother, David Clarke, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a Parishioner of St. John Episcopal Church where she served on The Altar Society and was the first woman ever elected to the Vestry of the church. She was also a member of Hermanas. She loved her family and friends, Grand Isle, and Mardi Gras. Kathryn was a graduated of Charity School of Nursing and is remembered as a wonderful nurse by all who worked with her. The family would like to sincerely thank, Prissy Grace for her loyal friendship, love, and support of our mother. We also thank the wonderful, caring staff of The Claiborne and St. Joseph’s Hospice. Services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 8:30 AM until Religious Services at 10:30 AM at St. John Episcopal Church, with burial to follow in St. John Episcopal Church cemetery. A public bereavement will follow at the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated. ======================
