Calvin "Pechon" Guidry Sr., 78 Years, a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident 
of Dulac, Louisiana passed away on November 12, 2016.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, from 5PM until 9PM and on Thursday, November 17, 
2016, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, from 8AM until 11AM. 

The burial will follow in Roger's Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Mae Lodrigue Guidry; son, Paul "Timboy" 
Guidry and wife Jean; daughters, Bernadine "Peggy" Fanguy, Berna "Granny" 
Fanguy and husband Arnold, Mary " Poule" Guidry, and Holly Guidry; brothers, 
Sterling Guidry and Ecton Billiot; sisters, Elda LeBoufe and Stella Nelson; 24 
grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Adam and Felicia Billiot Guidry; son, 
Calvin Guidry Jr.; daughters, Helen Guidry and Polly Guidry; brothers, Alvin, 
Delvin, Oscar, Joseph, Russell, Clarence, Vinus and John Guidry; sisters, Della 
Parfait and Ella Billiot; son-in-law, Gilbert Fanguy Sr.; grandchildren, Jacob 
Guidry and Paula Ann Guidry.

He was a wonderful husband, great father to his kids, a good friend to all. He 
enjoyed joking around with everyone and cooking for everyone. He loved animals. 
He was a shrimper and homemaker. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
