MATHERNE, LINDA G. 

    DIED: November 13, 2016

Linda G. Matherne, age 66, a native of Gheens and resident of Raceland passed 
away on Sunday, November 13, 2016.

Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home, in Mathews, on Saturday, 
November 19, 2016 from 9 am until 11 am. A Funeral Service will be held in the 
parlor starting at 11 am. 

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Linda is survived by her father, Whitney Griffin Sr.; children, Troy Matherne, 
Jeremy Matherne and Kimberly Breaux (Miles); brothers, Whitney Griffin Jr. and 
David Griffin; 5 grandchildren, Miles Jr., Dillon, Jade, Aaron, Derrick and 1 
great grandchild, Kaycee.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lou Mae Graubert Griffin and brother, 
Andy Griffin.

Linda enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

The family would like to thank the staff of Raceland Manor and South Louisiana 
Hospice for their care.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
