PETER, GODFREY W., SR.

Godfrey W. Peter Sr., 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of New 
Orleans, LA., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016.

He was a retiree from Texaco and Boomtown Casino Harvey, LA

Son of the late Mrs. Helen Z. Peter and Hubert Peter; father of Shantea' L. 
Peters, Godfrey Jr. (Chassidy),Yvette Peter and Rufus Hornsby (Schawnda); and 
brother of the late Cleveland Debue.

Survived by eight grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Preceded in 
death by one grandson, Peter (P.J.) Thompson.

Relatives and friends of the family, also Employees and Staff of Texaco and 
Boomtown Casino-Harvey, LA are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, 
November 19, 2016 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue 
from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Followed by Funeral Services at 12:00 noon.
