She was a native and resident of Houma, LA Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Monday, November 14, 2016 from 9 AM until service time at St. Louis Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Ricky Pontiff and wife, Jean of Houma, Michael Pontiff and wife, Marcel of Lafayette, Mark Pontiff and wife, Melissa of Houston, and Greg Pontiff and wife, Rhonda of Houma; daughter, Julie P. Arcement and husband, Floyd of Houma; daughter-in-law, Lou T. Pontiff of Houma; brother, Lloyd Klingman of Houma; sisters, Mary “Carolyn” Jung of Texas, and Laverne Bimah of Thibodaux; sister-in-law, Connie Klingman of Lafayette; grandchildren, Amanda Pontiff, Ryan Pontiff, Andrew Arcement, Phillip Arcement, Christopher Pontiff, Benjamin Pontiff, Victoria Pontiff, Lauren Pontiff, Madison Pontiff and Danielle Guidry; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Peyton and Landon; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George Francis Pontiff; parents, Richard Paul Sr. and Cecile Domangue Klingman; brother, Richard P. Klingman Jr.; sister, Aline “Sister” Voisin. She was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. She enjoyed Tuesday Bourre’ games, cross stitching and spending time with the grandchildren.
