Emily Thrasher Price, 77, died Monday, November 7, 2016 at 4:40 AM.  

She was a native of Burnside and a resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 10:00AM until Service 
time at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church with a service at 12:00PM.  

Burial will be held in St. Francis # 2 Catholic Cemetery, Houma, LA.                            

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kenneth Price; step-sons, Kenneth 
Price II, and Toby Price and wife, Leslie; step-daughter, Angelle Blanchard and 
husband, Dale; sister, Charlye Rougeau and husband, Mervin; brother, Carl 
Thrasher; Step-grandchildren, Allison Price, Deon Smith, Donoven Smith, Kamdyn 
Price and Kate Price; nieces Cindy R. Guidry and Kristy R. Hill.

She was preceded death by her parents, Charles D. Thrasher and Irma Porrier 
Thrasher; step-grandson, Kenneth Price, III.            

She was a graduate of St. James High School. She was employed by Houma OB-GYN 
Clinic for 40 years. She was also a member of the Krewe of Hyacinthians for 
over 35 years, serving as a board member, president and vice president numerous 
times. She was Queen Hyacinth XXXII in 1983. 
She enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with the grandchildren, family 
and friends.

Kathy, Tammy, and Val.
