Evans John Robinson, age 85, a native of Bayou Blue and a resident of Grand 
Calliou died on Sunday, November 20th, 2016.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. A 
memorial service will follow at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s 
Witnesses, 1830 Prospect Boulevard, Houma, Louisiana.

He is survived by his son Aaron Robinson, daughter Jahleel DeRoche and husband, 
Timothy, grandsons Joey Robinson, Jordan and Zachary DeRoche, granddaughter 
Angie Carter great grandchildren, Piper Deroche, Kasey, Cody, and Taylor 
Robinson, and Savannah Carter, and his beloved cousin and lifelong best friend 
Julius Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandra Lee Robinson, father James 
Robinson, mother Edna Robinson, sisters Sarah Rogers Morel and Vivian “Yan” 
Breaux, and brothers Lucius, Calvin, Whitney, Willis “Bill”, Junius, Aben, Levi 
and Roy.

Evans was a faithful servant of Jehovah God for over 64 years. His greatest joy 
came from sharing with others his hope for God’s promise of a paradise earth.
