James Rodriguez Sr., 74, of Loranger, LA passed away on November 14, 2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Samart Funeral Home 
from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 18, 2016 
from 9:00am until 1:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 
18, 2016 at Samart Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Rodriguez, two sons, James Rodriguez, Jr. 
and fiancée Abigail Sylvest, Robert Rodriguez; daughter, Renee Rodriguez; four 
granddaughters, Cora, Heidi, Ava, Scarlet; grandson, Matthew; 6 sisters, 
Jeanette Hebert and husband Wilbert, Jean "Meon" Benoit, Evelyn Boutte, Linda 
Boutte and Husband Peter, Earline Eschete and husband Edward "Nookie" and 
Pauline Foret and husband Jack. Brother, Barry Billiot and wife Mechelle. 14 
nieces,14 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Rodrigue and Mother, Inez Guise 
Billiot, Step-father, Mitchell Anthony Billiot, Paternal Grandparents, Gilbert 
and Marie Rodrigue, Maternal Grandparents, Theodore and Onise Crochet Guise, 2 
brothers, Forrest Rodrigue and Mitchell Joseph Billiot, 4 nephews, Tery, Jerry, 
Ricky and Ronald Benoit, niece, Josie Eschete, 2 great nephews, James LeBlanc 
and Jansen Boutte.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
