Karen Bouchard Verdin a native of Chicago,  a longtime resident of Houma, LA 
passed away November 20, 2016 in Christiansted, Virgin Islands.

Visitation will be held in Cypress Room at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., on 
Saturday December 10, 2016 from 11:00AM until Service time.  Memorial services 
will be held on Saturday at 1:00PM.

She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Verdin, her stepson, Troy Verdin, 
brother, Brian Bouchard and wife Dorla; sisters, Diane Bouchard married to 
Walter, Penny Walker and husband Doug, Patti Conner and partner Zach, nieces, 
Samantha Welch, Ashley Walker, Amanda Bain, Abby Walker, Jessica Bouchard, 
Sabrina Attaway and Jamie Bouchard; nephews, Randall Masoner, Tyler Welch, 
Aaron Walker, Michael Walker, Timothy Bouchard and Travis Bouchard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Wallum Bouchard and Kenneth 
Bouchard; and brother, Timothy Bouchard.

Karen loved traveling, adventures and trying new things.  Most of all she loved 
life itself.  She made friends with almost everyone she met.

Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to serve the Verdin family.
