Mrs. Gracie Lewis Verrett, 73. A native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Houma, LA died on Sunday, November 20, 2016.

The Life of Mrs. Verrett will be celebrated  on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 
Plymouth Rock Baptist Church 1000 Wallis St., Houma, LA 70360 Visitation from 
9:00a.m. until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

Interment at Deweyville Cemetery
 
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Hannah Ringold Lewis and three daughters, 
Sybil (Berwick) Coleman of Houma, LA, Tammy (Donald) Barquet of Austin, TX and 
Angela (Ronnie) Robinson of Houma, LA. One sister, Barbara Lewis Moore and 7 
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Verrett, Jr., father, Clarence 
Lewis and sister, Felton Lewis Taylor

She was the founder of Faith Dominion and Power Ministries. She enjoyed taking 
care of her grandchildren, word search puzzles, loving on people and shopping. 
She was a retired CNA with Terrebonne General Medical Center.
