Lucy Himel Zeringue, 93 years, a native of Schriever, Louisiana and resident of 
Chauvin, Louisiana, passed away on November 4, 2016.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. 
Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, Louisiana from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of 
Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. 

A private burial will follow at a later date.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry P (Sandra) Zeringue Sr., Ralph J 
(Rhonda) Zeringue; grandson, Larry P (Laura) Zeringue Jr.; two granddaughters, 
Rindy (Scotty) Johnson, Lainee (Jon) Hebert; great-granddaughter, Marlee Lyons; 
two great-grandsons, Jake Hebert, Chet Hebert; and great-great- grandson, Colt 
Lyons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond J Zeringue; father, Clodmire 
Hymel; mother, Bertha Perkins Hymel; daughter, Bertha Zeringue; grandson, Chet 
Zeringue; granddaughter, Nikki Hebert; two brothers, Ernest Hymel, Meynard 
Hymel; eight sisters, Julia H Chaisson, Irene H Thibodaux, Harriet H Benoit, 
Ruby H Guedry, Hazel H Falcon, Doris H Villneuve, Rita Himel, Theresa H 
Zeringue;

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LLC is in charge of arrangements.
