Norman Blanchard, 80 Years old, a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of 
Chauvin, Louisiana passed away on December 20, 2016.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. 
Joseph Church in Chauvin from 12:00 pm until 2PM. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will begin at 2:00 pm. 

The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chauvin.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael Blanchard, Emery Blanchard; daughter, 
Karen Johnson; sister, Jean Authement; grandchildren, Denise (Del) Pellegrin, 
Jonathan Blanchard, Jared Blanchard, Buddy Johnson; step-granddaughter, Reanne 
Johnson ; great-grandchildren, 7.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily LeBouef Blanchard; parents, Magnus 
and Lizzie Laprouse Blanchard; brothers, Larry and Dale Blanchard; 
grandchildren, Christopher and Paul Blanchard.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LLC is in charge of arrangements.
