Shirley Rome Burbank, 87, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA passed away on 
December 13, 2016.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Joseph Co Cathedral 
10:00AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 
noon at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her brother, Curtis P. Rome Jr.; numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Rome Sr. and Henrietta Durselen 
Rome; husband, Fortune A. Burbank; sisters, Dorothy Rome Traylor, Martha Anne 
Rome Wilson, Gwendolyn Smith Caples.

Landry’s Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
