Helen “Shirley Mae” Johnson  Coleman, age 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and 
resident of Los Angelas, California, transitioned into eternal life on 
Saturday, December 24, 2016.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at 
Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux. Visiting will be held from 8:00am until the 
hour of service at 10:00am 

Burial in Southdown Cemetery in Houma.

She leaves to cherish her memories, 1 son, Sean Coleman; 1 daughter, Sheila 
Marie Johnson; 7 brothers, James (Brenda), Charles, Gerald, Claudell 
(Lorraine), Lionel (Mary), Johnnell (Renee), Bishop Hurley (Laura) Frye; 5 
sisters, Rose Johnson, Eula Frye, Olivia (Michael) Boudraux, Pastor Joyce 
Branch, Mavis (Richard) Williams; 2 grandchildren, Courtney and Corey Johnson; 
a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, LouEthel and Davis Frye.
