Gene A. Courteaux Sr., 78, of Montegut, passed away on December 27, 2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9am to 11am, with mass 
to start at 11am, at Sacred Heart Church, 

followed by the burial in Dugas Cemetery.

He is survived by his
Wife- Theresa A. Foret Courteaux of Montegut
Sons- Jimmy A. Courteaux and Mark J. Courteaux and wife Linda of Houma
Daughter- Tina Courteaux and husband Barry of Houma
Grandchildren- Zachary and Brandon Courteaux, and Madison and Callie Voisin
Sisters- Jeanette Billiot, Elizabeth Courteaux, Merlene Courteaux, Kate Fanguy, 
and Jennie Fanguy

He was preceded in death by his
Sons- Gene A. Courteaux Jr. and Scotty E. Courteaux
Parents- Jimmy C. and Albertine Frazier Courtreaux
Brother- Jasper, Percy, Elgin, Belgin, Leroy, Floyd, and Mack Courteaux
Sisters- Pearly, Jessie Lee, Jean, and Flossie Courteaux, and Merle Malbrough
Grandparents- Mr. and Mrs. Mike Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Courteaux

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Richard Haydel and the 
staff at Haydel Hospice.
