Pershing Dempster, Sr., 76, a native of Edgard, LA and resident of Chackbay, LA 
passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the religious service at 11:00 am. 

The burial will follow in St. Philomena Catholic Cemetery, Labadieville, LA.

He is survived by his wife, Matilda Rose Dempster; children, Tootsie D. Jeanise 
and husband, Keith, Pershing J. Dempster, Jr. and wife, Karen, Rebecca D. 
Reulet and husband, Duane, Tammy Dempster, Dale J. Dempter and wife, Ora, Gail 
D. Rouge and husband, Wendall, and Anthony Hebert; grandchildren, Felicia 
Zeringue, Daisy Morvant, Jenny Dempster, Brandi Hubbard, Felicity Buckel, 
Victorine Simmons, Ethan Reulet, Israel Billiot, Blair Duplantis, Zach 
Dempster, Isaac Dempster, Chelsea Carlos, Gabe Rouge, Krystal LaGraize, Logan 
Dempster, Adam Hebert, and Alex Hebert; 29 great-grandchildren; and 3 great 
great grand children.

He was preceded in death by his son, Billy J. Dempster; and grandchildren, Fay 
Dempster, and P.J. Dempster.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
