She was a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9 AM until funeral time at St. Eloi Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Chris Falgout and wife, Linda, and Brian Falgout; daughter, Theresa “Dee Dee” Fischer and husband, Mark; brothers, Ernest Chaisson and Eddie P. Chaisson; sisters, Irna Dupre and husband, Alton, Carolyn Johnson and Jennie Domangue; brothers-in-law, Jaral Lyons, Sr. and Jessie Fanguy, Jr.; grandchildren, Holly Desmore and husband, Alan, Brian Falgout II, Christa Falgout, Brent Falgout, Mindy Fischer and Katie Fischer; great- grandchildren, Caroline Fields, Saylor Avara, Ramsey Avara, Allison Desmore, Zayden Falgout, Claire Desmore, Adyson Smith, Caleb Falgout and Channing Gros. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clarence “C.J.” Joseph Falgout, Jr.; parents, Eddie Joseph and Azeline Authement Chaisson; sister, Jeannette Lyons; brothers-in-law, Ray P. Domangue, Sr. and Norman Johnson; sister-in-law, Brenda Chaisson. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and Kaycee Auxiliary. She was the recipient of the Bishops Medal for outstanding service. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
