Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church from 11:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church cemetery. Junius is survived by his wife, Marie A. Betanoff Foret; son, Thaddeus A. Foret; daughters, Claudia Mascaro (Doug), Paula Waguespack (Anthony), Lydia Duval (D.J.); 7 grandchildren, Cherie Falgout, Kristie Zeringue (Toby), Anna Waguespack, Shelly Guidroz (Chandler), Devin Duval, Daniel Foret, Damon Duval; 4 great grandchildren, Juliana and Genevieve Zeringue, Drew and Hunter Duval; brother, Armand J. Foret Jr.; sister, Azema "Susie" Arabie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Armand Joseph and Georgina Champagne Foret; brother, Johnny Paul Foret; sisters, Bertha "Mae" Theriot and Mildred Anderson. Junius was a native and resident of Raceland. He is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, VFW, American Legion, United Veterans League and American Foreign Service Association. He served his Country with honor in the US Air Force for 22 years. He lived his life by the quotation: "I shall pass through this world but once. Any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice, Deacon Brent Bourgeois, Dawn Verret and Holly Duet for their care.
