Michael Wayne Giroir, 70, a native of Houma and a resident of Bourg, passed 
away on December 27, 2016.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma, LLC, at 5:00 pm.

He is survived by his companion, Kathleen Pellegrin; son - Michael W Giroir, II 
and companion Christy Quick; Daughters - Michele Hammons, Angela Ward and 
husband Ron, Melissa Barrow and husband Tony; three sisters - Linda Gail 
Rhineholt, Vickie Dupre and husband Floyd, Rhonda Lile and husband David; 
brother - Ricky Giroir, Sr. and wife Barbara; numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren .

He was preceded in death by his father - Paul F. Giroir, Sr.; mother - Margaret 
Songer Giroir; brother - Paul F. Giroir, Jr.

The family would like to thank the staff of Journey Hospice.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
