Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church beginning at 8:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery #2. Sybil is survived by her daughters Denise Guidry Forbes and husband Paul, Nichole Guidry Crochet and husband Dwayne; grandchildren Michael Paul Guidry, Simone Renee Crochet, Alyssa Nichole Crochet; siblings Andrew Rhodes, Eileen Chauvin, Peter Rhodes and wife Pam, Mary Talbot and husband Kevin, Bennie Rhodes and wife Jeanne, Marianne Matherne and husband Brian, Theresa Hebert and husband John, Virginia Achee and husband Phil, Christopher Rhodes and wife Tammy; and sister-in-law Jessica Hebert and husband Buddy. Sybil is preceded in death by her husband Errol; parents William and Marian Robichaux Rhodes; siblings Anthony (Tub) Rhodes, Marcia Porche and husband Kenneth, Christine Rhodes Fontenot; and godchild Rickie Rosamond. Sybil was a loving wife to the late Errol for 54 years. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sybil was a passionate environmental activist and a founding member of the Terrebonne Parish Tree Board. She was a lifelong active parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and served as a CCD educator for many years. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Guidry Family. ======================
