Sylvia B Legendre, 82 Years, a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of 
Chackbay, LA passed away on December 29, 2016.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Our Lady 
of Prompt Succor, Chackbay, LA from 8:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial 
at 11:00 am. 

The burial will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Chackbay, LA.

She is survived by her children, Karen Cortez and husband Ben, Josie L Granier, 
and Joseph Legendre Jr.; grandchildren, Janna C. Ockman and husband Brent, 
Fayla C Ford and husband Steven, Kenny Martinez and wife Bridget, Benjamin 
Granier, Shawn Legendre, Jamie Legendre and wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, 
Allie, Alyse, and Alex Ockman, Evan and Owen Ford, Brooke and Kolston Martinez, 
Jamie Lynn Legendre; and sister-in-laws, Bessie Perque, Marie Legendre, and 
Becky Boudreaux; 4 step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Legendre; parents, Alfred and 
Evelina Boudreaux; godmother, Sidonia Clement; brothers, Norris, Emile, Alfred 
Jr., Nicholas, and Richard Boudreaux; brother-in-laws, Charles Perque and 
Horace Legendre, son-in-laws, Jeffery Use' and Byron Granier; 1 step-grandchild

She had a cat named, Susie, which she loved deeply. She also enjoyed playing 
cards with her family and making trips to any casino where she passed a good 
time.
