Richard Joseph Martin, 72 Years,a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana 
passed away on December 16, 2016.

A visitation will be held in his honor on December 20, 2016 , at 9:30am until 
11:30 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, LA. A mass of Christian Burial 
will begin at 11:30 AM at St. Ann Church. 

The burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Alice Martin; son, Philip (Stacey) Martin;; 
brothers, Michael (Angie) Martin, O'Neal " Nick" (Donna) Martin Jr. Lindsey 
"Pedo" Martin, Anthony "Tony" (Natalie) Martin; sisters, Bernadette "Bonnie" 
(Myron) Pellegrin, Jan Blanchard, Kay (Robin) Gilmore, ; grandchildren, Jacob 
Martin and Gabrielle Martin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Matherne Martin; parents, O'Neal 
"Blue" and Audrey Hutchinson Martin; brothers, Glynn Martin; godchild, Matthew 
Matherne.

We would like to thank Hospice of South Louisiana. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society of Houma, 
LA.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, LLC is in charge of arrangements.
