Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1612.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Joseph Warren Moore, 88 years old, a native of Wilson, Oklahoma and former resident of Grand Isle, Galliano and Thibodaux for the last 30 years, passed away on December 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Gauthreaux Moore; son, Randy (Linda); daughter, Pamela Kirkley (Johnny); grandchildren, Micah (Portia), Wesley Kirkley (Andrea), Alaina Rivas (Jordan), Lauren Lafont Myers (Bryan), Andrew Paul Kirkley (Christy), and Gavin; and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Caroline Moore, Lucy and Judah Kirkley, Thales and Sophia Rivas, Beau and Bennett Myers, and Aiden McKissack. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Newton Moore and Flora Bell Moore Moore; step-mother, Nelda Riley Moore; brother, Jackie; and sisters-in- law, Norma Moore and Bettye Gauthreaux; and his father and mother-in-law, Eddie and Esterlene Harmon Gauthreaux. Joe worked for Humble Oil (Exxon Mobil) for 36 years moving from New London, TX to Grand Isle, LA. He retired as a Senior Field Superintendent in charge of the Exxon Grand Isle Base. He served four years in the Air Force in WWII. He was a humble, loving, selfless Christian man. He was a member of University Baptist Church for 30 years. A visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, December 26, 2016 at University Baptist Church in Thibodaux from 8:30 am until the funeral service following at 10:30 am at the church. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Gray, LA. Much love and appreciation to caregivers JoAnn Tillman and DeNesta Tillman for their tireless care and the efforts of Thibodaux Home Health, Haydel Hospice and Dr. Greg Chaisson.
