A native and resident of Houma, LA died on Sunday, December 4, 2016. Visitation and mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church 1220 Aycock St., Houma, LA 70360 on Friday, December 9, 2016. Visitation from 8:00 -9:00a.m. Ladies Auxiliary Ritual from 9:00 -10:00a.m and mass starting at 10:00a.m. with interment at Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, A. James Travis, Nathan W. Travis (Shawn) and William Travis. Daughters, Delquin L. Travis, Willisa V. Travis, Tara A. Travis Lonon (Charles) and Tiffany A. Fields (Christopher. Brothers, Gerard Morgan and M. Karl Morgan (Marcia) and sisters, Angela Robinson and Veronica Morgan-Lee (George) 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Travis, Sr., and her parents, Lloyd and Juanita Morgan. Brothers, Gerard M. Morgan, Lloyd "Skipper" Morgan, brother-in-law, Naaman Robinson and one sister, Agnes S. Morgan. She was a Roman Catholic with St. Lucy Catholic Church and a member of The Ladies Auxiliary Court # 338. She enjoyed reading, writing and educating young people.
