Bernadine "Bernie" Verdin Verret, 52, of Houma, passed away on December 16, 
2016.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, 
December 22, 2016 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, at 7:00 pm.

She is survived by her two daughters, Brittney Verret, Tammy Adams; two sons, 
Jonathan Verdin and companion Michelle Smedley, Timothy Adams; two 
Grandchildren, Hannah Verret, Christopher Smedley; father, Antoine Verdin, 
sister, Delta Verret and husband Bernard; four brothers, Joseph Verdin Sr. and 
wife Monique, Raymond Verdin, Kenneth Verdin and companion Earline Lovell, Glen 
Verdin and companion Lawana Dupre; .

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Smith Verdin; 3 infant 
brothers and 2 sisters, grandparents, Charley and Josephine Verdin Smith, John 
and Azelie Fitch Verdin.

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
