Shirley "Maw Shirl" Rogers Arceneaux, a native of Gretna, LA and resident of 
Bayou Blue, passed away on January 18, 2017.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 9am until 12pm at 
Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Religious Services will begin at 12pm at Samart 
Funeral Home of Houma. 

Burial will follow in Roger's Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Dale (Kathleen) Arceneaux; daughters, Phyllis 
(Jerry) LaCombe, Patrice (Leon) Geismar; Sisters, Delores Kreamer, and Dorris 
Songe;9 Grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Arceneaux; father, Evest Joseph 
Rogers; mother, Anaise Celeste Rogers; brothers, Junuis Rogers, Norman J. 
Rogers, Elgin Rogers, and Edgar Rogers; sister, Rita Mae Landry.

She was a member of the American Legion Women Auxillary Terre Salon 660, 8140

Samart is in charge of arrangements.
