He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma, LA. Funeral Mass will begin on Friday at 10:00AM and burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 will follow services. He is survived by his Loving Wife of fifty-five years, Patricia Blanchard Babin; Sons, Dr. Brian Babin, Gregg Babin and wife Karen; Son-in-Law, Pernell Pellegrin; Daughter, Kelly Babin; Sister, Sister Marion Babin; and Grandchildren, Katie Pellegrin Lambert and husband Adam, Bryce Babin, Lindsey Babin, Britt Pellegrin, Kaci Babin. He is preceded by his Parents, Harry Babin and Edna Chaisson Babin; Daughter, Gina Babin Pellegrin; Brothers, Harry Babin, Nolan Babin, Edward “Teet” Babin, Philip Babin; and Sisters, Mildred Hebert, Eva Babin, and Marie Ledet; Milton was one of the many friendly greeters at Sam’s Club in Houma, LA. Milton enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; and most especially enjoyed that time while camping with them. He loved all sports; most especially LSU and his Atlanta Braves. He will be greatly missed; but never forgotten. The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice for their love and care durring the family’s time of need, his nurses Christy Griffin at Haydel Hospice and Toni Armstrong at TGMC, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Dr. Abayomi Sanusi, Dr. McGaw and Staff.
