Warren “Joe” M. Babin, 81, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, 
passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2017 surrounded by family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 
funeral time at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Religious Services will be held at 
11:00 a.m. 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by daughter, Wanda Besson and spouse, Cletus; sons, Randy Babin 
and girlfriend, Tammy Adams, Bryan Babin and girlfriend, Cathy Babin, and 
Ronnie Babin and partner, Peter Jolet; grandchildren, Scott Babin and spouse, 
Stephanie, Lauren Boudreaux and spouse Jake, Whitney, and Caroline Babin, and 
Jada Besson; step-grandsons, Anthony Adams and Chris Hebert; great-
grandchildren, Hunter, Grant, and Elaine Babin; siblings, Robert Babin, Jerry 
Babin, and Joyce Dufrene; step-brother, Felix Babin; and many relatives and 
friends who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Essie A. Babin; son, 
Barry Babin; parents, Dalmas and Blanche B. Babin; and step-brother, Junius 
Babin.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with handling the funeral 
arrangements.
