Joseph G. Benoit, 78 Years, a native of Chackbay, Louisiana and resident of 
Choctaw, Louisiana passed away on January 11, 2017.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home, Thibodaux, Louisiana from 9:00 am until the Funeral 
Service at 12:00 pm. 

The burial will follow in St. James Chapel Cemetery - Choctaw, Louisiana.

He is survived by his sons, Paul Benoit and wife Jackie and Michael Benoit and 
wife Lori; stepdaughters, Leona Adams, Cindy Giluso and Debra Henderson; 
grandchildren, Kyle, Toby, Brady, Makaila & Skylar Benoit and numerous step-
grandchildren and numerous step-great grandchildren; brother, Russell Benoit 
and sisters, Bernice B. Bourgeois, Delores B. Savoie and Mary B. Roussel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Bowers Benoit; his parents, Norman 
and Viola Braud Benoit; brothers, Mark and Roland Benoit; sister, Enola B. 
Clement and grand daughter Kaitlyn M. Benoit; step-son, Glenn Thomassie, step-
grand daughter, Denise Henderson

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
