He was a native of Bayou Black and resided in Gray, LA for over seventy years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur J. Bonvillain and Laura Trahan Bonvillain, son, Arthur Paul Bonvillain, brother, Ivy Bonvillain and sister, Adolia Bonvillain. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 70 years, Dorothy Rita LeBoeuf Bonvillain, daughters, Sherry Cain and husband Charles, Chris Sherman and husband Frank "Watkins", and Karen Weick, six grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graydon was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Gray, LA. He was a WWII veteran and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a hard worker and avid farmer. After retirement from construction, Graydon continued to farm. He loved to read and was also an avid fisherman. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Gray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Church Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of St. Catherine's Hospice for their loving and tender care of Mr. Bonvillain.
