Ernestine Eason Browder, 69, a native of Cotton Valley, LA and a resident of 
Houma, passed away peacefully at 2:43 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 
January 20, 2017 at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church located at 2766 Hwy 
311 in Schriever, LA 

with burial to follow in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.

She was survived in death by her son Robert Browder, Jr. (Joyce); daughters, 
Gloria Boutte, Roberta Browder, and Priscilla Washington (David); six 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Browder, Sr.; daughter, 
Christine Browder; parents, Henry, Sr. and Lillie Mae McGee-Eason; brothers, 
Henry Ted, Virdy and TJ Eason; sisters, Christell Standokes, Dorothy Mack, 
Zoretha Jiles, Lorine White, Bertha Brown, Melvina Eason and Lissie Hardy.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
