Chester J. Chiasson Sr., 83, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA passed away 
on January 17, 2017.

Visitation will be at St. Genevieve Catholic Church on Thursday, January 19, 
2017 from 8:30 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 
at 11:00AM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by special soulmate, Beverly A. Moreau; son, Ronald Chiasson and 
wife Connie; daughter, Cheryl Crittenden, Cathy Babin and companion Bryan; 
daughter in laws, Kathleen Chiasson and Judy Chiasson; brother, Leroy Chiasson 
and wife Dot; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and 
nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Usey Chiasson; parents, Joseph and 
Edith Thibodaux Chiasson; numerous brothers and sisters; sons, Chester Chiasson 
Jr. and Kenneth Chiasson.

He was a hard worker who retired from Shell Oil Company. He was a dedicated 
son, spouse, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and father in law who 
loved his family and was always worried about their well-being and safety. In 
his spare time you would find him in his overalls watching football, and riding 
and working on his Ford tractors
