He was a native of Greenville, MS and resident of Choctaw, LA . A visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 8:30 AM until service time. Christian services will take place at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. James Chapel Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Deanna "Dee" Evans; children, Angie Evans, Jason Evans, Johnny Evans Jr., Stacy (Brett) Theriot, and Nikki (Corey) Fields; and brother, George Evans. He was the proud Paw of 11 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Everette & Louise Evans; Chad Becnel, and siblings, Clen Leach, James Evans and Bobby Evans. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Marine Corp. The family would like to thank Thibodaux Regional Medical Center & staff, Dr. Abou-Issa & staff, Hospice of South Louisiana, also Deacon Ambrose Ayzinne.
