He was a native of Ravenna, Ohio, grew up in Mobile, Al and a resident of Raceland, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Joe was blessed with a beautiful family, he had a full life with many business’ and a professional career, but nothing stopped him for being a loving husband to Sarah Miller Gaddis of 23 years; a son to his beloved parents, Donald and Carol Gaddis; father and mother -in-law, Michael and Denise Miller; he was also survived by his children that he adored, Joseph Gaddis II, Michael LeBouef, Chasity Gaddis (Wade Elder), Darrin Gaddis, Jerry LeBouef, Gunnar (Karah) Gaddis, Steven English, and Zedekiah Gaddis. Joe was a loving grandfather to Stephen, Jeremiah, Josefien, Wade, Jr., Khaos, Madilynn and Gunnar II. He was a brother to Donald (Roxanne) Gaddis I, April Dotson (Donnie), Jeffrey (Heather) Gaddis, Andy (Cori) Gaddis, Amy (Jason) Heimel, Chris (Heather Primeaux) Miller. Grandmother-in-law Mary Weir. He had several Godchildren, Brittney and Joshua Thibeaux, Ariel and Zackery Gaddis, Kacy Thiboeaux, Donald Gaduis II, Maria Miller, William Lacoste, Jr; step-brother, Kevin Silloway, Sr. and several nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Joe is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Madelyn Gregg, Grandfather, Benjamin Gregg and his children’s mother, Deborah “Toni” Barber. Joe was known by many, but to his family he was full of life and a loving, kind, hard-worker and entrepreneur. Joe owned many business’ including a construction company (Dunrite), Mattress Factory Outlet, he was also a professional wrestler and owned Mid-South Wrestling for six years and (I.W.C) Independent Wrestling Council for four years. He was also an avid Alabama Fan “Roll Tide”. Joe will be dearly missed but always remembered for his wonderful spirit, Joe was tired and his hardworking hands were put to rest.
