Hebert, 83, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died on Tuesday, Janaury 31, 2017 at 11:26 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 8:00 AM until Service time in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. Mr. Curly is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane Breaux Hebert; daughter, Ginger and husband David Tindle; 3 grandchildren, Dayna Tindle, Ashley Hirtle and Joshua Arceneaux; 4 great-grandchildren, A.J. Senegal, Rhyan, Taylor and Joshua Arceneaux.Jr. Mr. Curly is preceded by his parents, Eris J., Sr., and Eunice Dumesnil Hebert; brothers, Harold, Eris, Jr., and Eris Hebert, III; and sister, Jeanne Babin. Mr. Curly is the retired proprietor of A-Bear’s Restaurant in Houma and he was the developer of Catfish A-Bear dish. Mr. Curley was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. The family would like to offer special thanks to his caregivers and Haydel Hospice, Dr. Scott Haydel and Dr. Matt Watkins, for their love, devotion and sincere effort to make his final days comfortable and meaningful.
