He was a native and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 9 AM until funeral time at St. Eloi Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Carroll “Poopie” Hebert, Jr. and wife, Karen; daughter, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Higgins and husband, Bobby; brothers, Leroy, Dale and Jessie, Jr. Hebert; sister, June H. Lindsey; grandchildren, Bobby “Buddy” Higgins II, Christopher M. and Cody J. Hebert; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Brenna Trahan, Daylon J. Higgins, Cade M. Hebert, Sofia Higgins, Kinzley and Kodie Hebert; former wife, caretaker, longtime friend and mother of his children, Wilda “Butsy” Hebert; special friend, Jerry Sanders; stepsons, Ryan Dupre and wife, Cheri, and Jamie Dupre; stepdaughter, Mindy D. Brunet and husband, Leon; step grandchildren, Shelby and Joshua Brunet, Dalton, Brayden and Julie Dupre, Destini Eschete and Kandace Ellender; one step great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his wife of 14 years, Ellen Boudreaux Hebert; parents, Jessie Paul Sr. and Thelma Ann Boudreaux Hebert; brother, Michael Hebert; sister, Barbara Guidry. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was a longtime volunteer for the Dularge Volunteer Fire Department. Special thanks to his caregivers, Kristy Liner and Hayes Parfait. He was loving known as “Pee Paw” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hebert Family. ======================
