Paul Julius Lirette, 82, died January 8, 2017 at 11:42 AM. 
He was a native and a resident of Chauvin, LA. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 10 AM until funeral 
time at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM. 

Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Boudlouche Lirette; sons, 
Michael Lirette and wife, Marion, and Kenneth Lirette; daughter, Donna L. 
LeBoeuf and husband, Galen; sister, Helen Bonette and Kirby; sisters-in-law, 
Lois Lirette, Mary Ann Pinkerton, Dale Lirette and Joyce Billiot; 
grandchildren, Ashley LeBoeuf, Katie LeBoeuf, Maegan Lirette and Whitney L. 
Viteaux; great-grandchildren, Jaden LeBoeuf, Cade Tanner, Jai LeBoeuf, Landon 
and Rustyn Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dutrell and Josephine Bergeron 
Lirette; brothers, James, Roy and Hewitt Lirette; sisters, Delta Domangue and 
husband, Albert, Yvonne Blanchard and husband, Wilson, Isma Griffin and 
husband, Columbus, Velma Neil, Beverly Keiff and Mariah Maria Lirette.

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  He was a carpenter. He 
enjoyed fishing and cooking. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
